The Process

How We
Work.

From first conversation to final delivery — here's exactly what working with The Render Garage looks like.

The Process

Six Steps to
Your Dream Build.

01

Tell Us About the Build

Get in touch via the enquiry form, Instagram DM, or Facebook. Tell us what you're building, what you're trying to achieve, and what your timeline looks like.

We respond to all enquiries within 1–2 business days.

02

Scope & Quote

We'll review your brief and come back with a clear scope and quote. No vague estimates — you'll know exactly what you're getting before we start.

03

Design & First Draft

This is where the magic starts. We get to work on your project — whether that's developing a full design direction, producing renders, 3D scanning, or designing parts.

04

Revisions & Refinement

Your feedback shapes the final result. We refine based on your input until it's exactly right. Most projects include two rounds of revisions as standard.

05

Final Delivery

We deliver final high-resolution files in whatever format you need — ready to share, print, send to a fabricator, or post on social.

06

Build Support (Premium Projects)

For full custom design engagements, we stay with you through the build — updating renders as fabrication progresses and creating final hero imagery when the car is complete.

Common Questions

Good to Know
Before You Start.

How long does a render take?

A standard project render takes 3–5 business days. Complex custom design or 3D scanning projects are scoped individually — we'll give you a clear timeline upfront.

Do I need to provide reference images?

Reference photos are helpful but not essential. The more you can share — photos, inspiration, paint chips, wheel specs — the more accurate the result.

What file formats do you deliver?

High-resolution JPG and PNG as standard. PSD files, layered files, or print-ready formats available on request.

Can you work with any car?

Yes. We've rendered everything from 1960s Aussie muscle to modern supercars. If you can dream it, we can visualise it.

What's 3D scanning used for?

3D scanning creates a precise digital copy of your car or panels — essential for designing custom parts that fit perfectly, or reverse engineering components.

Do you work with workshops interstate?

Absolutely. Most of our work is done remotely — files, photos, and video calls make it easy regardless of where you're based in Australia.
